This week is the final week in spring semester 2010.

Teacher usually would ask students to evaluate themself in the end of semester.

So .. now I would like to evaluate myself in the end of this semester.

ENG 886 -- GESL/Academic Language

There are 7 students in this course and all are international students, three from France, one from Poland, two from China and me.

In this course, we practiced not only writing but also speaking, reading and listening.

I am afraid of persent in front of many people, teacher gave us few times to do this.

Although I am still fear of presentation, I still tried my best to get it over.

Second, teacher told us many interesting stories, like a history of April Fool's day and history of Easter.

This is not known before. Teacher still tried to make us to speak to others to practice speaking.

These classmates are nice persons especially one guy from Poland.

I also learned how to use citation in academic writing and how many types you can use.

I think because I wrote an essay in English in Taiwan, it is not difficult for me to know APA form to use citation.

Finally, I had great time with these guys and teacher and I will continuous improving my English.

Math 107 -- Anly Geom & Calc II

This course is my favorite course in this semester because I like mathematics.

I still remembered that when I first time came in the classroom, I didn't know what professor was talking.

It shocked me and let me feel frustrated.

After the first class, I came back to dorm to study.

I felt that this thing I had learned when I was university student in Taiwan, so it can not beat me.

I tried to recall my memory about mathematics and then, I felt better in the second time course.

I can catch up the speed of professor and it made me feel happy and confident.

The professor of this course is a good professor, he teaches well and I like his lecture.

It's pity that he doesn't teach Math 208, I really want to take his another course.

It's great!

Fina 338 -- Principles of Corporate Risk Management

The reason I would take this course in this semester is becasue the Fina  307 is full and I can't take Fina 307.

But I felt I am lucky in this semester, she is a good teacher in teaching finance management.

She used interesting way to encourage student to learn more and used simple examples to explain the complicated concept.

I like her and she always smiles with eath others.

I need to take the other finance course in this summer and I hear about that she is one of instructors.

But I asked her, she said that she will not teach any course in this summer and she might teach in next spring semester.

According to my graduate plan, I have to take this course in this summer, otherwise, I can not graduate in two years.

So ..it's pity ><

This semester is my first year in UNL, I feel lucky to met many good persons and get some help from others.

Although this is a boring little town, I do still not regret to come here.

I am fine and I try to enjoy my life here. 

Hope I can have a wonderful graduate student life in Lincoln. ^^
